Mulled Cider

Made from apples harvested by hand from the walled gardens of some of Scotland’s most iconic castles. This mulled cider comes with a spice bag containing black currant leaves, star anise, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, black pepper, and a slice of dried orange.

Prepare your own mulled cider:

  • Crush the spices in a mortar and pestle. Put the crushed spices back into the bag.
  • Empty the bottle into a pan and simmer at low heat for half an hour with the spice bag and the lid on. If you would like to reduce the alcohol you can leave the lid off.
  • Add about 4 tablespoons of your sugar of choice until irresistible. We like demerara or brown sugar. But your favourite honey works well.

Enjoy hot by a roaring fire!
