Spent a fascinating couple of hours yesterday evening with Christian at Seidear as part of the Provenance Festival 2023 making our own bottles of Champagne method ciderAfter learning about the process we each donned safety glasses to choose a bottle from the racks before freezing the neck and dramatically disgorging the sediment before corking and caging.I also brought along some apples from my garden which we pressed for juice.A fascinating event – my own apple juice tastes great and I look forward to sampling the cider I bottled in a couple of weeks.
