Foodie Quine by Claire Jessiman
Spent a fascinating couple of hours yesterday evening with Christian at Seidear as part of the Provenance Festival 2023 making our own bottles of Champagne method cider 🍾🍏🥂
After learning about the process we each donned safety glasses to choose a bottle from the racks before freezing the neck and dramatically disgorging the sediment before corking and caging.
I also brought along some apples from my garden which we pressed for juice.
A fascinating event – my own apple juice tastes great and I look forward to sampling the cider I bottled in a couple of weeks.
